While it comes from the Buddhist tradition, it is practiced by people from all different spiritual paths. This form of meditation is a fabulous support for your healing path, as it helps not only to calm your mind and body, but also to see your patterns more clearly.
The Insight Meditation Centre offer a free online 5 week Introduction to Mindfulness Course, complete with weekly audio sessions to download and homework assignments each week to help you to integrate what you are learning into your daily life. If after doing this course, you would like to pursue this further, an Intermediate Course is also available free from their website. In addition to these courses, there is a large number of audio talks by Gil Frondsal available to download free.
